OUR STORY

We have been friends since university. Then life did what life does. It took us in different directions and on different continents for the better part of thirty years.

One day, Nicole walked into Loulou's café in Kent. Completely by chance, or so it seemed. We found each other again at a moment when we both needed it.

Life had been challenging. The strength we found in each other, and our shared passion for Kenya, made us want to create something meaningful - a place that holds people the way we care for each other.

There was already a place for it. Nicole's family home, perched above the Indian Ocean in Mombasa. Opening its doors to others brought a new dynamic to the house - a reason to gather, to share, and to create something new together.

That is how Casa Moja was born.

Not from a business plan, but from friendship, the unexpected turns of life, and a shared sense of purpose.
